Feature

Industrial-grade performance

High-brightness displays maintain content visibility in various lighting conditions, especially in strong outdoor light environments.

Most of our high-brightness displays can reach over 800cd/m², or some even go up to 2500cd/m².

  • Industrial-grade operating temperature and long life time
  • 1000nits support sunlight visible
  • High color reproduction
  • IPS supports perfect visual performance from every angle.

How to make the lcd wording on CM4/CM5 quickly?

  1. Use the KD101_CM4 converter board with integrated backlight driver to convert the 40-pin LCD interface to 22-pin MIPI DSI + I²C.

  2. Flash the latest Raspberry Pi OS to the SD card using Raspberry Pi Imager, then set up an Ubuntu LTS virtual machine as the cross-compilation environment.

  3. Pull the latest Raspberry Pi source code, then clone our driver and device tree files into the corresponding directories.

  4. Compile the kernel and device tree to generate the required .ko and .dtbo files.

  5. Transfer the compiled files to the CM4 via SSH or SD card.

  6. Install the files:

    • .dtbo/boot/firmware/overlays/

    • .ko/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/extra/
      Then run: sudo depmod -a

  7. Update config.txt by adding the corresponding dtoverlay to complete the setup.
